Migrants Advisory Council
The Migrant Advisory Board of the City of Graz represents the interests of people with international history who live in Graz. He is committed to equality, participation and good coexistence. The Advisory Board contributes suggestions and ideas to urban policy, advises the municipal council and works with various bodies — always with the aim of making Graz more livable for all people. Whether it's about education, work, housing or living together: The Migrant Advisory Board is the voice for diversity in Graz.
Presentation of the Advisory Boards
Who we are: We have a total of 9 members. We come from non-EU countries. Our advisory board was approved by the Graz municipal council in 1995. Our former name was Foreigners Advisory Council.
How we are elected: We are elected by direct and secret ballot by migrants living in Graz. Our election is always carried out at the same time as the Graz municipal council. We are ordered for 5 years.
